Parking

Parking is available at P2: Dolfinarium and P8: Zonneweide.

Parking lot P2 has limited capacity, while P8 offers plenty of parking spaces. From P8, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the entrance of the Dolfinarium. A day pass costs €11.00 and can be purchased at the parking machines or via the municipality of Harderwijk website.

On weekends and during the autumn break (the final opening week of this season), a free shuttle train runs between P8 and the boulevard. The shuttle operates from 9:45 AM to 5:30 PM.

Do not follow your navigation system when you enter Harderwijk, but follow the signs to the municipal car park on Lelykade (P2). From here it’s less than a ten-minute walk to the entrance of the Dolfinarium. A day ticket costs €11 and is only available at the parking machines at the car parks. Please note: day tickets are not for sale at the ticket offices of the Dolfinarium. You can pay with exact change or debit cards at the parking meters. Or use a parking app, such as Yellowbrick or Parkmobile. For more information about parking, please visit the website of the municipality of Harderwijk.

Accessible Parking

Visitors with a disability who do not have an official disabled parking permit (GPK, ‘Blue Card’) can be dropped off at the entrance of the Dolfinarium. The car should then be parked on Lelykade (P2). The parking spaces at the boulevard are for short-term parking only (a maximum of three hours). The Dolfinarium has several parking spaces reserved next to the entrance for people with a disabled parking permit. To get there, cross the bridge to the Dolfinarium island and head towards Strekdam. Then turn left across the bus lane towards the main entrance. The parking spaces for people with disabilities can be found on the left-hand side.

Parking spaces for coaches

Those visiting the Dolfinarium by coach can get off at the Strekdam drop-off point. It will be a two-minute walk from here to the entrance of the park. The coach can then be parked free of charge at the municipal car park Flevoweg (P3).

If you want to get to know the park beforehand, please take a look at the map.
