A special recognition
Dolfinarium now belongs to a select group of Dutch attractions distinguished by Michelin. We share this honor with special locations such as Palace Het Loo and various historic castles. Internationally, the Michelin star is known as a prestigious mark of quality awarded to attractions such as the Colosseum in Rome and the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
The Michelin star is awarded by anonymous inspectors who evaluate attractions based on nine different criteria. They look at aspects including first impression, quality of reception, and the range and originality of all activities. This star means that according to international Michelin standards, the Dolfinarium is “worth a visit if you’re in the area”.
