The Dolfinarium: your best school trip ever

Are you looking for a fun school trip? At a very special location? At the Dolfinarium, children can immerse themselves in the unique underwater world of the sea for a whole day. With eight super fun animal shows with special sea (mammal) animals such as dolphins, walruses, sea lions, seals and rays & sharks, four cool playgrounds, and in good weather the splashing water slides of Waterpret, the children will have the day of their lives!

Play, learn, splash and come home like a true ocean protector!

During the school trip to the Dolfinarium, all your senses are really stimulated: you see all the animals up close! At the glass wall in Odiezee, you and your whole class come face to face with dolphins and walruses. In the performances you see jumping dolphins and unwieldy walruses rolling down. And do you also hear the roaring sea lions? You can even stroke the rays and sharks with your own hand. Feel if you dare!

Due to the educational character of the super fun performances, the children learn about the animals and nature in a playful way. Did you know that there is more and more plastic soup in the ocean? In the impressive dolphin show Oceanica in the large dome at the park, you will learn everything about the natural and unnatural threats to dolphins in nature. In the lower classes, you can go on a scavenger hunt for all the animals in the park with your animal passport. And in the upper years you and your class can book the educational program, where you visit two animal species. What do you tell your family when you get home?

Play with the whole class

Play together with the whole class in no less than four large, cool playgrounds. Everyone climbs on the high walkway, slides down the long slide, spins on the turntable and zips over the cable car. When the weather is nice, you might want to slide down the water slides of Waterpret with your classmates. That is a day of playing and doing. Are you looking for a school trip that connects the class? Then go to the Dolfinarium!

What is included with the entrance?

Including

Included in the entrance fee are access to the park, all performances & presentations, the playgrounds, the beach and the Water Fun attraction (if open).

Performance times

The performance times depend on, among other things, the weather conditions and the expected crowds. As a result, the times of the various performances change every day. What time the various performances start is therefore only known on the day of your planned visit. At the ticket control you will receive a map with the timetable. You can already see where the performances are via our digital map.

Performances / presentations can be visited on your own. An exception to this is the dolphin show ‘Oceanica’. On busy school days, we usually give schools an advisory time for this performance. We naturally take into account the times of any additional extras or departure as much as possible.

Water Park Waterpret

Waterpark Waterpret has a water play set and water slides for different ages (from 3 years). Water fun is open at outside temperatures of 20℃ or higher (subject to change). Of course under the supervision of Dolfinarium employees. Nevertheless, we ask you to let the students play at Waterpret under the supervision of the supervisors. Swimwear is mandatory at Waterpret. Changing rooms and toilets are available.

Collection Points

Dolfinarium has several picnic areas that can be used freely as a lunch spot or as a gathering point, for example. It is not possible to reserve places in one of our catering locations (both inside and on the terrace). These are exclusively intended for the day catering. In addition, it is not allowed to use indoor locations (such as Onder Odiezee) as a collection point.

Park Regulations

To make your visit and that of our other visitors as pleasant as possible and because the welfare of our animals is very important, Dolfinarium has drawn up park regulations. By entering the park you agree to these regulations.

Supervisors are responsible for the behavior of the children. It is forbidden to enter the habitats of our animals: stay on the walkways. Don’t get behind the fences. It is not allowed to feed animals in any way. Waste is very dangerous for our animals. Prevent waste from ending up in one of our animal shelters; throw garbage in one of the many trash cans.
